Dekers
So, whats your verdict, I have only recently come to know someone who practises this to a level that many may consider extreme, I see they are now spreading their tentacles to someone else I know who is somewhat impressionable. I would be interested in your experiences, good, bad, whatever! Cheers
Spiderdude
agreement 1 Be impeccable with your word - Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love. agreement 2 Don’t take anything personally - Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering. agreement 3 Don’t make assumptions - Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life. agreement 4 Always do your best - Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret. Never heard of it till I just read it. Seems fair enough to me. Mungler
It's a load of BS. If anyone took this up in isolation you would come across as autistic or with no social skills. **** me, if we all wandered about telling nothing but the blunt truth, and being told nothing but the blunt truth and being immune to other peoples opinions then we wouldn't like it.... Well I can just imagine the talk when I go out to do my chrimbo shopping in my Speedos Edited November 27, 2011 by Mungler

Dekers
is this a cult thing? I'm seeing it that way when taken to the extreme, the basis of it sounds reasonable, BUT, the world is about interaction and caring for your neighbour, this malarkey seems to put the boot in on all that! Pushkin
Perhaps this will give an insight - it is based on a book written in 2005. http://blogcritics.org/books/article/book-review-the-four-agreements-by/ Pushkin
