Martyn, try growing whatever you like eating, jalapeño are easy to grow and really tasty.

Hedd-win, ghosts need a long season to get the most from them, you might have missed the boat, but it's worth a shot, worst case is you'll end up with some plants to overwinter and give you a head start next year

So, my chilli update is that I am now neck deep in chillis - this year has been a good year.

 

So, the question is - what to do with all these chillis?

 

Freeze them, dry them, chutney them?

 

I heard of a good one of filling ice cube trays up and freezing them - so when you need some chilli you pop one cube of the tray.

I was the same last year, 4 apache plants, close to 400 fruits so bagged some up and work colleagues were happy
