Any info on these guns and are they any good? I have an o/u 12b 1/4 and 1/2 chokes. Action looks like a winny but can't find out much about them on net, it was made in 1981 by date stamp and it has 18.3 stamped on both barrels and it has KG1. 530 on it aswell

If it has the hinge pin under the barrels - full width pin - it is a Winchester, equivalent to the Winchester 101 Grand European. Top guns.

Parker Hale had them made with their own name on them 801, 802, 803 and 804 - from memory. Game, Sporter, Skeet and Trap models.

It is what the barrels pivot on. Winchesters and Miroku / Browning have a pin that goes from one side of the action to the other. Berettas, Lanbers etc hinge on two stub pins - one either side of the action.

If yours has one hinge pin, it is a Winchester. If it has two, it is a Franchi.

Right. I think I can rule out the Winchester as all the actions I've seen bear no resemblance to mine. The picture at the start of this topics is the same as mine but it says Parker hale in the bottom corner and made in Italy on the barrels. I thought Parker hale were british?

That is a Parker Hale - 100% made by Franchi.

Chokes should give you some idea of which one.

The trap model(703?)was 3/4 and full.

Skeet model(704?)- sk and sk.

Sporter (702?)was 1/4 and 3/4.

Can't remember what the game model(701)was choked.
