I prefer this kind - 380431504786 we use them everyday and throw them out after 2 or three months. The kind Mungler linked are ok but they tend to squeeze the nail and the dogs don't like it. I have a pair but tend to only use them on dew claws that are curled right round.

If its a big dog and don't like clippers or its to hard to clip, try a dremmel with sand disc on the end.
