Fenny and me had a go today , after looking around our permissions without seeing anything worth while we decide to have a go on some wheat stubble out the back of my house thinking that we may get at least a shot or two .
Surprisingly there were a few birds floating about all day but they were very difficult to decoy and the shooting was very difficult in the strong wind , we stuck at though and ended the afternoon with a respectable 55 of which only 10-15 decoyed so we had some decent shots between us at passing birds.

Well done to get the birds, we were out today and they would not decoy but they gave us some cracking passing shots.

Great result for you lads.....The birds weren`t decoying a few miles from you either!!!. I had a difficult day yesterday in the blistering heat..

well done lads. sometimes when they wont decoy it makes it more exciting to take passing birds . and imho it helps to improve your shooting .again well done.
