I can honsestly say that I've never shot pigeons over oats I've shot loads of crows. So well done but as White hunter says thats not standing oats or is it the next field?

I have shot oats but only when there are massive windblown patches in them! not on stubble much think the reason for that is when the farmer cuts the oats the wheat is cut right after or vice versa and they will always go to wheat over anything but if oats were the only thing on the menu then i would suppose they would just do with what they have got :hmm:
