lakeside1000 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Share Posted February 28, 2013 Spent the afternoon on a newly ploughed field, pigeons were there when I arrived but did the usual vanishing act, so I set up and waited, they came back in ones and twos but not in any large numbers, ended the day with just 5 and a big old crow who came too close , I was trying out some 'black gold', cartridges a friend gave me and was hitting birds hard at over 50 yards, very satisfying , just wish I could afford to use them all the time but at £7.50 a box I don't think so. so that brings my running total to 42 , out again saturday.
