Chad63
Paul Atkins has got a lovely collection of various black powder guns. He's a real character and well worth a visit to his stand if he's ever at a show near you
Big Mat
there's shooting a goose and then there's slaying a goose Might as well shoot the goose in style! I think i read that he uses 5 1/2 ounces in a 6" case.

Big Mat
Holy s### was it a double barrel 2 bore Fairly sure by the pictures it is a single 2. I should think you'd have trouble holding the fore end if it was a double!

The Croc
This the one Boyd? Meeting Tony (Derbyduck) some three years ago he mentioned a " 2 Bore" erm ive shot Geese with everything but NEVER seen, held or shot a 2ga so a plan was made. Due to work amongst other things the chance finally came Friday 30-11-2012 BUT it was going to be a Moon Flight. Seeing and handling the 2ga at my home S..t me and my big mouth. Tony said " your be alright mate ive down loaded them shells to 5oz of Bismuth oh. Meeting up with Hunterhammond and Sean the stick and ribbing i got was unreal. With Pink's moving and not a ideal sky i really never thought i was ever going to fire such a awesome beast of a Gun also to add pressure Tony and Geoff moved some distances to my right and Sean to my left all laughing your MAD. After only 30 min a Skein of Pinks came about 50yd high picking the last bird ( not wanting to see a fluke from the skein) i cocked the hammer swung through the Flame Thunder and Smoke that followed will Never ever leave my mind. unlike a smaller Gun where you can see and hear what has happened with the 2ga it was like a Atom Bomb had gone off but through a clearing smoke was a well and truly stuffed Pink had been hit by 5oz of Bismuth Tony, Geoff and Sean all confirmed what a sight to see and i had indeed shot the last Pink in the Skein. So a Big Big Thank you to Tony for giving the chance to shoot a awesome Gun also well done on your Moon Pink, Sean for his First Moon Pink and Geoff for being Geoff cheers to you all great night never to be forgotten
