  1. 1. Where?

    • Bedford Marina (more lively, more expensive)
      3
    • St Neots (nicer looking pub, cheaper)
      11
    • Wellingborough (possibly easier if coming from NW)

Any one know of "Dog friendly" accommodation in the area

Just had a quick look on trip advisor and there's a Holiday Inn Express Bedford that allows dogs about 10 minutes away from the St Neots premier inn

Whats the date so me and son can get booked in

Dunkield

19 Feb 2014

To quote Teal's post in the Charity Shoot topic, here are the details you need to save searching through the whole thread:

Bearing in mind the Catton Hall shoot (17th) and the bank holidays on the weekend of 3rd and 24th May, and that ST are unable to do the 10th May. The date for the 2014 PW Charity Shoot will be Saturday 31st May.

The format will be the same as previous years - squads of 6 with referees supplied by the ground, and the clay shoot will be 100 bird sporting, with a bacon roll to start the day and complimentary tea/coffee available.

Sporting Targets are:

Address:

Sporting Targets Ltd

Knotting Lane

Riseley

Bedfordshire

Yep, £50 for the dogs :/ :/ :/ I emailed the shooting ground yesterday to see if they had any ideas

There is a kennels about 1/2 a mile from the ground. Just down the hill is vesuvius hotel/restaurant. Kennel is called The four in hand . Number is 01234 781431.

Hope this helps. Try calling The Falcon pub too, only up the road does accommodation, but not sure on dogs though.

Wow, thats a bit steep, tis a real nice pub that does great food, never stayed though, just used to pop in for a pint on the way home a few years ago.

Did you try Thrapston, a market town about 15mins away, theres a travel lodge or Premier inn there, and a hotel in the town, cant say about the dog situation. Hope you get sorted.
