Sir_Adam
Mines a fox red coming up two years. Drakes head rings a bell in his line however I'm not certain. He hasn't been proven yet either or scored, both his parents where low(certainly less than 16 sure combined they where less than ten) know his eyes are perfectly clear as the vet checked them while he was in. Can have a check for you if you like? I'm in market deeping

kent
You need to do quite a bit of research yet and have a good mind as to what you are trying to get in the way of pups I suspect a long hard look at this might yield the obvious answer. Inbreeding index is becoming quite relivent and Hips, elbows eyes in your own bitch having been tested should mean more to me than what fashionable stud of the day you chose. Likewise speak to One of the John's but get those tests done on yours
sonicdmb
As Kent mentioned the "inbreeding index" is more important to the health of the breed than the "name" of the sire. This from the Kennel Club http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/services/public/mateselect/guide/mating/breed.aspx?id=2048 will give you details of any tests the dog has had (provided KC have been informed) and how close the mating is. I used this when looking for a sire for my Cocker and turned down a few that had good pedigree but went above the breed average on the index. jimmyb79
I have two stud dogs from Drakeshead. One is from Garrowpoint and the other from Davoulin Fraser (also FTW). Unfortunately probably a little far as we're down in Kent though...

jimmyb79
That's not sunbathing - he's in the hot-tub saying "come on in ladies, the waters fine!"
