any suggestions on a price

a year ago whilst buying a new shotgun, I bought an air rifle complete for my wife, without her being there, big mistake as it's way too heavy for her to use and hold, ok if sat at a bench but no good for her to carry, so have decided to sell, but do I sell the rifle, keeping the refil bottle for another gun, or would I get a better price selling it complete and start again? the bottle was brand new on purchase

it's a bsa superten (mk2 so Im told) has bsa scope and silencer, two small bottles and two magazines,

plus the filling bottle and carry case

suggestions please on what it's worth

once I get an idea of price, I'll then post it in the for sale section, so please, no replies to buy on this post

If you intend to buy another PCP it would be false economy to sell the bottle just sell the charging hose that fits the gun.

I would think gun only around the £3-350 mark as usual much depends on condition.

You may get a better deal if you put it up for a swap , several lightweights would suit , BSA Ultra , AirArms S200 and the Brocock contour to name three.

My mate had a Brocock Contour and it was pretty good - light and simple to use. Not badly priced either.

Probably worth looking for something with a Skeleton stock. I have a Falcon with skeleton stock and it's great, I carry it over shoulder in slip when pigeon shooting incase of easy shots etc... often forget about it and nearly sit on it

100% buy her a bsa ultra . I have the "tactical" version with the plastic black stock . Super light very well balanced short gun IDEAL for a female to walk around with and perfect for out the landy window And as a bonus I think r10 mags are the same . So sell 1 with the superten gun and keep one . There £40 quid new so thats a win win. Price range I would say 300£ for gun only . Keep the bottle that scope would maybe be a bit big looking on a ultra tho . Hope this helps . Ben

cheers ben, is there a pellet that these mags like, as its fiddly as anything loading, then using something to push it in that little more to allow you to load the next?

Hi mate sorry for slow response. Me and my friend have ultras in.22 and we both shoot rws superdome . They are defo a fiddley little mag until you get used to them .I think the trick is hold the mag in one hand and spin the centre with your finger wile putting pellets in with the other hand . Hope this helps

Ben

Hmm not sure on that one mate . My pellets just push in easy as . To be honest maybe I was wrong maybe the mags are slightly different . The pellets just push in and the centre of the pellet before the skirt starts ,sits in the the centre o ring on the mag. On mine definatLy no need for any sort of extra tool to push them in any more . Strange ? . Ben . P.s u have a pm
