You join CPSA (if in england some other countries too) or WCTSA (if in wales) not sure about scotland and get a number shoot some reg comps and scores get tallied to put you in a class (D-AA) for most then your scores determine your class at regular updates

Turn up at any registered (some only accept pre booking by phone/email before the day but most its turn up pay and off you go...) you give your number when you book in and when your card is retunred they log the score with CPSA/WCTSA etc CPSA site best to research, they also publish the list of all registered shoots in england.

Get onto www.shootclayforum.com if you have an interest in competative clays.

Information on a non-specialist forum may be inaccurate/misinterpreted.

I wouldnt ask them for info on hunting/pest control if you get my drift.

Altho some of us on this forum are dedicated clay shots too, who dabble in pest control ;)
