Hi all, Dave here,

looking at the best ways to get permission to shoot '' crop/pest control '' done a little decoying last year and roost shooting on local pheasant shoot got must the kit now slowly building it up.

just seeing if there's anyone who would be able to help in anyway.

Hi Dave, theres no simple way round it mate. Lots of door knocking, be smartly dressed and be prepared for many rejections. Try your local pub where farmers might be drinking. If you see a field being attacked by birds try asking the farmer" if you can find out where he/she lives" would they like a hand in controlling them etc. You never know your luck.

Hi dave the best time to go knocking is when the pigeon are doing the most damage winter rape etc.. laid corn in june and when you do a good job people will recomend you and it can snowball!, and before you know it you have too much land ! It worked for me and as the others have said here dress smart and be polite

Hi dave how long have you been in the area that you live in, have a drive around looking over the farms etc,and ask if you don,t the answer is all ways NO ,enjoy your shooting . cheers mick

been in the area since birth (27 years), all I seem to have near me is field after field of Grass and dairy farms willing to travel and have paid for pigeon shooting (my dad thinks im crazy to pay for it but I feel it worth it), looks like im going have to do weekends away again up north this year.
