Out the other evening right on dusk , spotted 4 roe travelling up a fence line heading for a nearby copse . The light was fading fast and no time to stalk in any closer as soon the deer would be in the wood or the light would have expired.

 

I got settled on the bipod and took the shot at 215 paces....the buck jumped and did the death rush until he collapsed dead.

 

On gralloching the beast I had taken the top of its heart off ................chuffed to get off the mark.

 

Typical North East roe ....heavy body weight and rubbish head :yes:

So that was about 100 yrds then :whistling:

 

Only joking Mark well done mate and now your off the mark there will be no stopping you im sure :good:
