I'm surprised they dont do any small bore target rifles.

growth from 5 to 70 employees from 2005 is the clue why not, oh and the fact that we have wars all over the planet at present were the sniper has come to the forefront. If you look at sporting services their civilian route to market and have a look at the RRP of the product also  Not many will be queuing up for a small bore over the current market leaders in that field

RRP is not a barrier for competitive types who want the best :-) When I look at what the Olympic level target shooters use like Anschutz, Walther, Feinwekbau - they aren't exactly cheap.

Perhaps it will come in time.

Sorry misunderstanding, what I meant was they have little stiff competition compared to what exists in that market and get bulk orders from those that always pay and sell them at good money. "Look at the RRP" was meant to mean they are making good money no doubt. its not like they could just adapt the product they have or make a significantly better small bore than the big three you mention. Not that target shooters are cheap skates having competed in many competitive rifle events myself I am fully aware that the gear is not bargain basement stuff, fact is as a target gun the product they offer is already bettered for purpose by others in what is a smaller market the AI does not dominate in tactical sniper or in f-class ftr matches and is actually cheaper than the rigs that some of the top shots of the today are using to win handcrafted one at a time for their needs.

Nice to know we can still do something and get it right.

we as a nation have always excelled at such things, its just we tend to give away the idea or have it produced elsewhere. The Governments early plan was high level engineering was our route out but from that early time in power it has drastically reduced the spending on further education establishments, university technical colleges and spent it on the miserably failing current school system instead for reason of voter appeal

The current small bore target rifle in vogue is the Swiss made Bleiker which is much more expensive than the traditional Anschutz, Walther and Feinwerkbau
