You have to ask where the continuity in sentencing is,and why it is not applied to it's full force as a deterrent to others,and also what happened to the father for letting his son have access to his firearms.

Midgley, 31, of Bush Hill Lane, Flecknoe, near Rugby, was sentenced to a total of two months in prison suspended for two years, with two years supervision.

So not even made a prohibited person ??? You would have thought a farmers son would get a ticket easily enough if he wanted one .....

 

Also it was t clear if he lived with his father and borrowed the rifle "estate rifle" or took his dads rifle home? Also the 2 shotguns were they in a cabinet inspected at renewal?
