Forgot to add in my post about non woodies last nite that the dog was limping like mad after we packed up The ground we were shooting over was hard and stoney and looks like a flint or something went up between his toes and cut the skin off both sides Nearly hundred quid down te vets this morning So keep an eye on the dog if your ground is similar

Tony, is that the same dog that was injured last time i saw you?

In our area, we havnt had any good hard frosts to break up the soil, some farmers have been struggling to get good seed beds for drilling.

We've been having a hard time with some land to get it ready for planting flowers. Field beside where we are planting at the moment ( which will be renting to plant flowers on soon ) has got carrots on and the ground is still that wet they got the tractor stuck!
