Its not a Springer, its a cross bred terrier with a Gundog, that's if the sprocker was work bred? To be fair once you start talking about a cross being put to a third breed, we are talking mongrel. I fully agree on the third breed thing it can be done to create a new breed but there is much wastage before it will breed true. Big mistake with our old lurchers was to introduce deer hound and Saluki in short succession instead of sticking to the proven formula. Nothing wrong with straight crosses that are well thought out IMO though even first cross stuff can vary in type at least you know better what your working with.
