The raffle tickets need to be bought on the day, as all the prizes are chosen from the table by the winners to make sure that people get the items that they want.

They are £1 a go, and usually sold in a strip of 5 tickets for a fiver :good:

We have run a separate raffle for people not attending the day based on donations to the JustGiving page, and we will be looking to do something similar this year. This is typically for shooting opportunities, and last year a good number of pigeon shooting days were very kindly donated by Pigeon Watch members into this raffle.

Thanks for starting the topic SABS - it would be great to get some more donations in before the shoot, as it is for an extremely worthwhile Charity, and all funds raised will go to them, helping to save lives, research treatments and educate about male cancers

Just to add to the list,

A voucher for a free birds only entry to a 100 bird shoot at Catton Hall shooting ground (I'm sure Pete can add the link when he puts this on the website)

A slab of pigeon cartridges from John Beswick at Rainhill Cartridge Supplies (no website but can be contacted Thursday, Friday & Saturday AM on 0151 426 4607)

I've had a root through some of the things I've acquired over the years and never used and put a few bits and bobs together, only thing I can remember without going to look is a Beretta umbrella still in its wrapping. (Looks a good umbrella but I wouldn't be seen dead with anything Beretta)

Will keep looking and putting the feelers out for more prizes.

Brilliant - sorry I hadn't seen the topic for a couple of days and great to see some more donations for the raffle - also I have had a couple of PMs, I think I have got them all - Magman, Mr Potter, Catton Hall, John Beswick, PhilR and leeds chimp take a bow for excellent generosity - I have added these to the list and when Pete gets a chance I am sure he will upload onto website. :good:

750 cartridges up for grabs, a side by side, and a semi automatic, and plenty of shooting and other interesting pieces, definitely going to help raise a really good amount of money for Orchid Cancer :)
