r1steele Posted June 28, 2014 Report Share Posted June 28, 2014 Brampton (between Hexham and Carlisle) has got a small kids lake but I think its catch and keep. Not many will allow catch and release unless it's fly only. It's a place where you're almost certain to catch so it's good to get kids interested. If your kids are real young, you'd be better off finding a fishery that caters for small children. They usually allow kids to fish in what you could describe as a stew pond!
