Black rock at treardur bay, it gets really busy at weekends though and a lot of rubbish gets left by the tourist,

I go early doors during the week, just pop into the life boat station and ask directions to the spot, its a short walk from the beach,

Good man flynny, it would probably be a Sunday when I go, so it will probably be packed !

No probs mate, Id go very early doors mate, within half hour you'll have a bag full, I used to drop a line in off the rocks at the back of wylfa power station, very deep warm water straight off the rocks

I have another spot but its only accessible by permission, Which I have,

Cheers mate, hopefully I will try and go this weekend, it's a 2 hour drive so want to get to know a couple of places before just turning up, if there's any tackle shops open on Sunday maybe they will give me some pointers and all

There used to be a bait shop near menai open on a sunday. You could try fishing off the rocks below Hewitts field (can camp there too) at Benllech

Mackerel Rock. If you really can not find out where it is by any other means then pm me.

Do not go on the weekend it is full of people who think it is acceptable behaviour to leave as much rubbish as you can imagine. Personally i would like to throw them in and shoot at them until they sink but that kind of thing is frowned upon.

At this time of year it is light until 10pm, makle the most of it and go in the week, just not when i want to go. :)

Unfortunately for me and more importantly the people of Wales, in these times there isn't a quiet time other than weekdays and school time.

Excellent nice one mate, are there tackle shops around that area for feathers ?? I'm inland you see and my fishing shops don't sell anything like that !

There is a shop in Holyhead that will be able to sort you with whatever you need, owner is called Mark(winnies worms) is the shop name, he is also a very knowledgeable angler and knows all the local marks. His shop is in Williams st and phone 01407760303
