Alix managed this 3 shot group with Hornady 150gr SST's( supplied by Fister), prone at 100 yards. Better then mine anyway. We sat out for ages seeing if any fox's would show up, buy saw nowt. Decided to pack up, I put my 308 away and Alix kept hold of his 22-250 out the window of the car while we drove back to the farm yard (over the fields of course). Then while passing a massive dung heap he saw this near fully grown cub, any way couldn't ask for a better back drop (20 tonne of ****) he let rip with his PPU 55 grain (tiny bullet ) and we herd the pop. Its certainly not one for stalking with I,m gutted i wont be able to get it to Catton this week. Depending on the dates if any for August it should definitely be there then.
