Nest of foxes.... North Wales style

Rob and I were supposed to be lamping some silage fields that had been cut and picked up, when we got there the tractors were still rolling back and fourth, so we decided on a change of plan and went to another site. This particular landowner had been losing stock, thought he might have a fox about! Dog vixen and 5 cubs...

Some good distance shooting and in many directions with the dog and vixen coming in from behind, cubs out front, Rob did the majority of shooting accounting for the 5 cubs at ranges out to 250-300 yards, the work of the lamp / call man was exemplary ........ even if I do say so myself, accounting for the dog and vixen as well as lighting up and swapping calls, a text book evening!
