loriusgarrulus
Was having a play after using said plates at Grandaughters birthday party and noticed shiny surface on them. Easy Shoot and See Targets (Ingredients all at Wilkinsons) (prices at 12/7/2014) One pack of 560 sticky coloured dots “7 colours” (50p Wilko Matt Quick Dry Blackboard Paint 250ml (3.60p) Packs of 20 Wilko “just one more” 9inch paper plates (1.25p) I use the lime green plates for easy visual impact. The plates have a shiny surface so no need to clear tape them. Paint the plates with one coat of blackboard paint and leave to dry. (The paint washes off your hands and the brush under the tap) Put dots on the plate. I use a round cake icing marker to get six dots in an even circle around the lower part of the plate, but you could make a position marker using a piece of cardboard and put them where you like. All the dots show up well, apart from the dark purple against the black paint. Fasten plate on a soft wood stick or tape up to a backboard and shoot. Leaves a hole showing the lime green round the impact site. Paint will do about 100 plates depending on how thickly you coat them. Works out about 10p each. The pellet goes through leaving a white line boarded by the lime green around the hole. Easy to see through a scope or by eye if shooting close.
