hi does anyone have any of these chokes and what are your thoughts on them are they any good

I use one in my semi-Auto for the pigeons and rabbits and was so impressed by the quality of manufacture, great pattern and service from shotgunchokes.co.uk that we bought a set for my son to use in his O/U.

Give them a ring, you wont be disappointed! :good:

Just bought some of this guy. He has no conception of the phrase "customer service". I live local to him yet he was reluctant to allow me to collect, instead he charges £7.50 for postage that costs him under £3. I ordered 1/4 & 1/2 for my O/U and he sent two the same. They were not the right fitting either and he said that was my fault for ordering the wrong ones! Eventually got the right ones after costing me two lots of P&P to send the others back. The quality is not brilliant (I'm an engineer by trade) but l suppose for the price, what was I expecting. They also keep coming slack after 10 or 12 cartridges. He claims he has a big factory in Washington which I doubt, as he has given two other locations to fellow shooters and seems to run his show from a residential address in South Shields. They look alright when fitted but I don't think they will be steel proofed either. There is nowhere either you can leave any form of feedback for this product, the website is for ordering only and you won't find the opportunity to write a review for him anywhere...except here of course.

i have a pair of these, they basically are real cheap but do just enough.

i had a cyl / cyl set for shooting skeet. i bought these 2nd hand a few years ago of of here. they were so cheap they were worth the punt.

i have used them for a while, but i now use a full / full briley set. i shoot sporting mainly.

if you look at the price.. they are about £29-35 in price....

i dont know why but i looked at briley chokes and the price per standard choke is £20. these are of course comparing external chokes vs internal. i cant say i`m that bothered about external chokes. but for the money i`d rather pay and get brileys, they just are better, comparing them side by side the Briley ooze quality, the Mandels do not.

i did plan on giving the mandels away, because they are redundant.

however, because i bought them so cheap they were real value for money.
