silenced semi auto shotgun

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a silenced semi auto shotgun as so far i have only been able to find single shot and pump actions. The other option would be to put a silencer on the end of a semi auto barrel but how effective (quiet) would this be and i can also imagine it being very unbalanced.

Thanks Oliver

Its getting the action to work with sub's. Either low volume fast powder or normal volume but low inneficient pressure. So less volume anyway. So gas guns are not ideal and inertia will not work.

Maybe 36g or 42g sub's. Bit that's not ideal.

That's making them too. Factory shells are 32g or lower.

Saw a feller in shooting mag with silenced semi beretta . Shorter mod than usual hush power full length cans of course . Recall he used normal shells but still quieter . Would speak to Saddlery Gunroom . Could always work action manually if subs never cycled it .

Saw a supressed benelli m2 on gun trader a while ago going for £750.

If you want a semi to cycle sub sonics just get an under powered action spring

Interesting - I heard of a gentleman making his own moderator for an M2 out of titanium to keep the weight down. I wonder if it was the same one.

A moderated 20b semi auto would be a bit of a holy grail for me, especially if it had a spare standard barrel.

I believe it was a hushpower supressor.

If their was such a demand i may just set my own supressor business lol. I think it'd be pretty easy to set any semi auto to run reliably with a suppressor
