olim Posted July 19, 2014 Report Share Posted July 19, 2014 Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a silenced semi auto shotgun as so far i have only been able to find single shot and pump actions. The other option would be to put a silencer on the end of a semi auto barrel but how effective (quiet) would this be and i can also imagine it being very unbalanced. So less volume anyway. So gas guns are not ideal and inertia will not work. Maybe 36g or 42g sub's. Bit that's not ideal. That's making them too. Factory shells are 32g or lower. Recall he used normal shells but still quieter . Would speak to Saddlery Gunroom . Could always work action manually if subs never cycled it . I wonder if it was the same one. A moderated 20b semi auto would be a bit of a holy grail for me, especially if it had a spare standard barrel. If their was such a demand i may just set my own supressor business lol.
