diddy
do you mean the land hasn't been cleared for 22 hornet or 17 hmr? I would have 22 lr for rabbits at night and aolq 17hmr for rabbits during day and aolq 243 for foxes and aolq they didn't grant me a centre fire as they wanted me to be mentored
J_Edwards
In hindsight you probably should have made it crystal clear what you want to the police. They'll deal with a lot of these, so it's better keep it simple as possible. It looks like they've jumped to conclusions and just cleared it for .22LR, not your other calibres. I'd word an e-mail similar to this. "Dear So and So, I have recently acquired new land, on which the land owner (Mr. So and So) has given me permission to shoot. I am requesting clearance for: .22LR for rabbits and AOLQ .17HMR for rabbits and AOLQ .22 Hornet for fox and AOLQ" [Attach map of land with details of location, acreage, and landowner details] You could also state that you have the landowner's permission to shoot deer, and in the near future will be applying for a variation to .243, thus also clearing the land for .243 would save time in the future While they've got it up on the screen, they may aswell do it now Edited July 22, 2014 by J_Edwards
Luckyshot
By the sound of it its a clearance issue, apart from the hmr. I would ring your flo and ask what calibre the farm in question is cleared for if only 22rf ask for it to be re inspected if its ok with the farmer although hmr should be fine already and it sounds like a case of someone has there wires crossed somewhere. alendil
Thanks for help i will send email stating ALQ for all calibers. Land is cleared for large caliber just police didn't clear all my calibers. its arable land mainly so fields are massive. so i will be better of with .17 hmr not .22 LR ( on top of it its hard ground at the moment ) but just my opinion

Andy RV
I take it that you already have your FAC? If so your conditions relate to that specific caliber, not the land!.. So if you already have AOLQ / vermin/ fox ect for .22 rimfire for example that's not going to change.
