Finished spending money on a spotter now very happy with this setup all self contained no external power supply needed and minimum of fuss to change over battery's using a kpc e700 camera with a 16 mm lens at the min waiting for my cs mount adapter to come then I can stick on my 125 mm cs lens so hoping for good results

The ir light has been cut down and wired to the switch on the torch handle

And on off switch as you can see is on the side I'm using a monitor from eBay which I'm very impressed with

There you go happy with the results

Mick miller.

Any news on your nv add on

Did you ever sell any if the prototypes , are you making any units to sell ?

I sold one unit to a trusted friend, I'm hoping to sell another to fund the next developments. Even as it is it works well, I'd like to lose the stock mounted battery though as currently it's a weak point in the design. I have a new battery which should fit and a new voltage regulation method to trial along with a new camera that hopefully will be less prone to white out but still perform as well.

I have to say, it's the only unit I use and can comfortably head shoot rabbits at over 100 yards with absolute clarity on x14 magnification.

Brian, I'm waiting on delivery of my 3d printer, which won't be with me till December, then I can get an internal battery into the unit, all the charge circuitry, power indicator, wireless transmitter, fused power circuit, driver and custom illuminator into one complete custom designed abs case. Okay, the finish will be a little bit grainy but I will no longer be limited by off the shelf project boxes!

Apologies to the op for the thread diversion.
