Agree with short coats though, I just stripped my Border terrier and she seems muck more comfortable in the heat with just the undercoat. Some of those giraffes have exceptionally long legs, not to mention, necks and if you get one that stands on a bit of a hill then it's obvious it's going to feel the sun more if it's head is twice as close to the sun then ours?
