After watching a rape stubble for a few days we decided to give it a go yesterday There have been no birds getting on it until about 2pm onwards So at 2 we turned up to find the field absolutely blue ! We set up with what breeze there was coming from behind and had 8 down in the first ten minutes Then it just died on us A few came back about an hour later once it had clouded over a bit so we gave it till 6 and ended up with 25 Very disappointing considering the amount of birds that have been on the field all week Still suppose it makes it more challenging for next time !

Most of my farms aren't worth setting up on until 10.30ish, have tried earlier but a waste of time. You never know, a preferred field could have been cut somewhere along the flight line

Don't we know it!! Have sat there watching them, sky high, on a mission to elsewhere. Anywhere but where you're sat.

Not long to go now Matt Can't wait as I've joined a new bit just down from Earith aswell this season ! You had a play with the new 10 yet ?

I'll be on some other bits of the washes as well next season. Had the 10 out on 20th Feb morning flight and bagged a canada with it, fired it twice since to pattern test it. Got a 3 1/2" 12 side by side now to try out.
