berettadevon Posted July 28, 2014 Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 i have the ultralight classic and use it for clay shooting also, i use the express power reds with no problems. the only problem i did have was i thought the gun was a little on the muzzle heavy side so the gunsmith placed and mounted about 60grams of lead on the inside of the stock. not only did thismake the muzzles much lighter it also reduced the amount of felt recoil by quite alot. HDAV Posted July 29, 2014 Report Share Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) 24g steel in size smaller than 4 (7.5-9) will be standard steel so ok in a nitro proofed gun through half choke or less Your browning will weigh at least a couple of pounds more than the ultra light less weight = more recoil !
