Just got a new permission within 2 miles of my front door !! Went and had a peek the other day, set up a little pattern of 12 deeks on barley stubble. Almost every bird came right in to land.........shame there was only about 30 visitors all day.

I hit 20 for 30 shots fired, they are in my freezer now..yum yum.

I was happy to be shooting my old Hammergun again, thanks to Jim Wills of Bath for sorting the triggers out.

The Crow.

I have to admit, this was my first ever crow with a shotgun. it came sauntering along at about 15ft off the ground, travelling from right to left. I was stood right out in the open, and I couldn't believe my luck. It didn't even require any lead it was that slow.

I picked the old boy up and noticed something strange about his eye socket. The poor sod was blind in his left eye............no wonder he didn't see me!! I thought it was cuz my field craft was so good :lol::lol: .
