Basically I used to beat for years when I was younger and ended up getting my shotgun certificate and a gun and really enjoyed game shooting. But due to work commitments I could no longer keep up the sport. Now I'm in a situation where I can start to shoot again which is excellent news :D the only problem being I have a shotgun and an air rifle with NOWHERE to shoot :( I've lost all my contacts from who I used to shoot with and I have no idea how I can get back into the sport.. I'm not a fan of clay pigeon shooting so want somewhere to shoot pigeons rabbits etc can anybody help me out and give me an idea of how I can get back into it ? Thanks very much in advance :)

Welcome to the forum.

You don't like clays but Times in gun club at Dalton ale Dale has plenty of lads who shoot pigeons, might worth going and getting to know them.

Trouble with the South Durham area is too many long dog men, hare and deer coursing over the land and farmers don't like letting people on they don't know.
