Angels or Thingybobs

I find that when shooting over stubble that the same effect can be achieved by using the stubble itself. Think I might just be in a minority of one though. I've finally come to the conclusion that all and any of the gizmos can as often as not make matters worse - with the exception of this one idea - and have decided that the best choice is simply a well laid out decoy pattern; adding dead birds and possibly removing the decoys if the numbers shot warrant it as you go along.

I been asked a number of times what I mean by the term "Angels" in my posts. Well today I managed to take some pictures. They are made out of wire coat hangers and 1mm steel tubing and are meant to represent a bird landing in the pattern. So what does the Massive call these? ????

Dare i ask what is that evil spike off , almost feel sorry for the greys ending up " PARKING " on that !

a home made device, just a bit of flat bar, drilled and then bent, cut some rod and put it through the hole and weld the end of the rod and where it goes through the flat bar, all painted up .... easy
