Dave-UK
Our 12 weeks old lab has settled in nicely. Now i'd like to do some recall training. I've looked online and there as so many different types of whistle, silent, adjustable etc. What would you guys recommend please? Cheers Dave

fenboy
The acme 210 .5 / 211 is perhaps the most widely used whistle.
tiny tim
acme 210.5 is the most widely used if you arrive at a shoot with no whistle there will always be someone with a spare
DEADLY PLUMBER
Acme 210 for me also. Dog responds well to it when he is not ignoring me. Ha ha
Konnie
as said acme, you can get them in various colours now easier to find. all the others look nice but the downfall is individuality you have trouble replacing them if lost the pitch(sound) is different
kent
Acme 200 series all the way ( I use 210.5) and keep one around your neck one on the keys. One day you will bend to pick something up and..................................... (lets just say don't put it in your mouth ). At 12 weeks I shouldn't fuss over anything you could rightly call "training" though I keep a few and run them through the dishwasher regular as muck soon builds in them and they loose their note
