JABB
I am after a pair of MTP British army trousers, and looking at the exact size conversion, I thought I knew what to order. BUT, I have been looking around and am now told the sizes are not true. Yesterday I went to the only surplas store for miles in Oxford and they only had them up to size 33 waist. Now, I am 36/37" waist and 32" leg, exactly. My Hoggs trousers are 36" and are fine. Anyone use this and can offer a suggestion on fit and sizing? Due to the above, I will have to buy on line. malkiserow
http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/237399-nato-clothing-sizing-guides/ an inch is an inch and I've not heard of changes to sizing. The link may or may not help? Edited September 16, 2014 by malkiserow
JABB
I've seen that one, and had worked the sizes from it. Reading online though, and reading a few bay listings, people are suggesting going for a larger size. Just wanted owners take on sizing really
welshwarrior
Early MTP was small on the sizing the later heavier material came up the same as older DPM, it was a great rumour that lead to lots of soldiers wearing baggy trousers. The shirts light weight jackets on the other hand where small and most went up a size
