He was talking to a rep for Trucklite who have started selling LED headlights to replace those bulbed lights in military vehicles such as Hummers etc which pop bulbs when air dropped, and asked mate if he knew anyone with a Landie who would maybe like to trial them on a civilian basis. Of course he said, "I've got a Defender", so he has been given a pair for his Landie gratis, normally retail at around the 230 quid mark. He has more jam than Hartleys.
