I have a Silver Pigeon 20 bore for my son aged 12, lovely gun but the cheek piece is too low for him, Can anyone give me an idea of the cost of fitting an adjustable cheek piece and advice on who can do the job. I am based near Saffron Walden in North Essex. Many Thanks.

Beretta 20 bores are **** to do as there is loads of wood removed from the stock and the stock bolts are high. They need the stock bolt hole filling and a new stock bolt making (if it's a very high one this needs to be capative) then the top of the stock void filling with wood bond it in, then you can cut the stock and fit the hardware.

Lots won't touch the Beretta 20s those that do normal charge extra, due to the extra work aim at £250-300 for the work. Give me a PM if I can help.

Just seen my stocker and he said older 20 bores had the inside of the stock hollowed out but the newer ones he's seen have tended to have just a hole for the bolt. He's not far from you, near Royston. He said give him a ring. His name is Justin Risley 07803 521716.
