Phoned 101 for there advice, they said yes phone them and give them where and when also my shotgun cert No or my firearm cert No, if a compilaint was made and it was in the district where I was shooting all they would need to is to check there records and should know my cert Nunmbers it seems to me there are wanting a bit too much information as they have all the need is at a touch at a button.

This topic turns up on a fairly regular basis and there is always lots of bravado, I can pretty much guarantee anyone faced with police with loaded guns pointing at them would not be so brave.

I do this for a living and have a lot of dealings with all sorts of clients, many are office, shop, school, council, manufacturing etc., etc., based where Joe public is a constant pain, advising the police in these situations is good practice for me and keeps me on good terms with the police.

Do I always call the police on the farms, golf courses, stables, country estates, etc., etc., of course not!
