Pykie
Went out at first light to our pheasant syndicate wood to feed the ponds. Saw a pair of Canadas and eight mallard which was nice. I then crept around the feeders to see what squirrel activity was left. I thought I was on top of them but after an hour or so had ten of them! I will have a count up later but I am sure I have had over 250 this year. All shot with my 28 auto. The pheasants are looking fit and strong, can't wait for our first day end of the month. turbo33
Another good haul Pykie I should imagine the 28 is a perfect squirrel basher, I generally use the 410 or FAC Air for them
RED BEARD
Are you eating them? 250 of them is a good amount of meat.
Pykie
Yeah it is Turbo, gives me a little more pattern and range when they are high up in thick cover. And the three shots do come in handy sometimes! Though I did get ten out of ten this morning!

Dbw1shrops
Well done that's some good going I was out the other day In my woods there's a few beech trees and the floor was full of 3/4 grown squirrels normally I would shoot them but it just wasn't sporting as I was about ten feet away from them and they were running around playing even when I had a shot at pigeons overhead they just carried on like nothing happened so I just didn't have the heart to do it and probably would of felt bad about it,maybe I'm going soft in my old age I might just leave them to grow a bit then go and have a look with the rapid 7 ! Dbw1shrops
It was just too easy UD and in my opinion unsporting, think I will have much more sport dropping them out the trees with the air rifle 👍 Atb Dave

fortune
Good choice on the calibre. I love mine and I've got a lot of different guns and caliberes to chose from. It is a very capable calibre. I hope that you are picking up your empties and storing them up in good condition for the day that you want to reload them.
