Hi I have just got a new permission which I visited this morning, the problem I have is there is absolutely no where to build a hide.there is no hedgerows or trees anywhere .what can I do

Does it have ditches? Ones you won't drown in!! However the most important thing is......................

Are the birds feeding on what ever is in the field.....!!!

If they are then find the line and make a field hide to suite your shooting, the foot paths and boundary's....

I use 2 x 5 mtr nets and 5 poles...it can be put up in less than 5 mins flat....Ask JDog...

We don't fuss to much with it so long as the back cover is good and you sit still.......

Plenty of ways around it as I am sure with the posts to follow......

There are drains that run round the field not a single piece of vegetation. Never built in the middle of a field. Will it not stick out to much on fresh sown land. Sorry I think I am looking for a answer that is not too easy to answer

Its very easy to answer and I have already done so , just build the hide in the field ! the pigeons do not care

I use one of these cheapo green shelters. My box inside it and a lightweight camo net over it. I sit on a stool behind it then pop up when the birds are committed. As has been said, it's movement that matters.

I made myself some guy lines, really makes a difference in the wind. I already had the pegs which are 13mm aluminium tube with a hole one end and cut at an angle the other to Form a point, about 8" long. I tied a loop of paracord through the hole and clipped a little carabiner to it then made a 10 foot length with the runners from tent guy lines that lock themselves and clipped the loop of it into the carabiner too. The other end has a small loop to go on the hide pole. Simpler than it sounds, cheap and really did make a big difference.
