I know its closing the stable door after the horse has bolted but the way to go in my opinion is mark with smart water I know it wont make them un-knickable but might help get them back faster and if advertised that everything is marked using the smartwater system may make the thieving scum think twice .

if anyone in a club would like a smartwater kit I think I have an unused kit lying around so if your willing to pay P&P and are from a bona-fide club give me a shout and I will try and hunt it out

this is becoming an all to often occurrence.there is a lot of scum out there.if your club can come back from this and I hope they can.it might be worth giving rss security a call they make remote wireless alarms that run of car battery.i have them fitted at some remote outbuildings the battery lasts around three weeks the system texts and then calls up to eight nominated numbers.i have had these for over eight years now and they have never given any problems.also they have been responsible for four chancers being picked up by police.the system with two pir units costs around £1300 but they are well worth it.atb

Where would you off load a dozen traps? It's niche gear to nick, and perhaps to order.

It can only be to another club or on line which of course will attract attention.

Scrap value?

Might end up on a container and out the country.

True but that means someone somewhere has a contact to offload them is there a big clay shooting scene in albania?

Unfortunately there is always someone out there prepared to buy stolen property.and the sad part is it will be in this case another club owner or shooter.
