We are based 30 min from Carcassonne Airport ... just ideal to travel with Ryan Air from the UK ! We offer tailor made packages to suit each guests requirement ! We recommend a 2 hunting days - 3 nights package ... hunting lodge on the estate with good food and fine wines ! We run our "10 boars back to back days" every month. Price / group (3 to 8) is only 7 900 euros ! Including : - 2 hunting days with hounds and beaters - 3 night full boar accommodation on the estate (very nice hunting lodge) - up to 10 mdedium size (30 to 60 kilos) wild boars Extra : - French licences (available online) - Extra wild boars from 500 euros - Alcohol - Transport from / to the airport - Gun hire It's just ideal to enjoy a quick visit in south of France with some friends ! Full board accommodation and a bag up to 10 wild boars. Party size : from 3 to 8 guests. So for instance, price will be 1 130 euros / gun based on a party of 7 guns. Michael Hi Michaeli, The boar / meat belong to the hunter. After our driven hunts we share the meat between the guns. The trophy is yours as well. If you drive from the UK you can take the meat back home no problem ... different story with the plane ! We always cook meat boar on the estate for our guests so they can taste it if they don't get a chance to take the meat back home. Hope that answer your question. I only shoot shotguns here in the UK would 12 gauge and slugs be ok or is it double/bolt action rifles what calibre? 4: Does Ryanair carry firearms? Answer to 4.0 - No they don't Cat Thanks Cat I had heard to get permit for la chasse was quite tricky. To be fair i had a look at their T&C's and found there was no mention i could understand... I don't have FAC in the UK but was thinking i could take my 12g and then buy a box of slugs in france. Catamong answered for me and was totally right. I am based in Toulouse, but our estate is near Caracassonne. You don't need to speak French to get the licence. You just need to get a temporary licence online (3 or 9 days). There is no need to pass any exam. Ryan Air doesn't carry guns sadly. You can hire shotgun / riffle here.
