Well done on your double, ive shot a few over the years (never a double) but dare I say I really don't want to shoot one again? Great sporting bird but when I pick one up and look in that big moon eye.... :sad1:

 

Maybe its time for me to stop shooting :whistling:

One tip if you do shoot one, do NOT leave your bird in the beaters cart, those **** will have the pin feathers out in a flash, yes it happened to me :mad:

Not sure why I got **** the word I used was a plural clump of muddy grass ???

Seen my first one a couple of days ago up here in cumbria and my brother put a couple up whilst out in the woods yesterday

thanks for that . Some of my mates were out at the weekend and seen a few here down in south wales . We should get a good fall in the next moon if it gets a bit colder.
