BRNDL Posted October 26, 2014 Report Share Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) Hello all, Just a few pictures from our first walked up day this season. We did some miles...from 10am - 5pm with an hour for lunch. I think we managed 6/7 Melanistic's which were absolutely awesome flyers and presented some challenging shots. The rest were last years birds that were incredibly plump and in great condition. We have never seen as many snipe on the moors either, but only shot at a couple and managed one for the bag. Some of the misses were incredible too...but that all makes for a great chin wag and banter over lunch.
