Hello all, I have used for the past several years a deben tracer max for my lamping (on my air rifle) but the sealed acid battery has finally given up the ghost so I'm in the market to replace this. The options I've been looking at are as follows:

Venom strike turbo kit (red led)

Night Master 800 (red led)

Or new lithium ion battery (12volt 22 amp) for my tracer.

I am also now shooting a 17hmr for rabbits.

Can anyone give me feedback if they have used any of the lamps or any other suggestions.

Thanks, Mark

For my air rifle and rimfire i have bought a red Venom Strike for the dimming feature and lower price, I then bought an extension tube so I can runn two batterys threw it.

Am very happy so far but have only had it a month.

I will keep reporting abck on it. I figured the NM800 to be to focused on CF use, a dimmable NM800 would be good but price will be alot higher when available and also anything over 200yards IMO is way more than any air gunner / rimfire user would want !

I bought the nm400 last week and overkill for an air rifle is an understatement. Easily id at 150yards and then walk the 110 yards to take the shot. Think the 800 would have been a better buy due to spread of the beam at close ranges possibly. 3 power settings and bright as you could hope for out of a single Cree led. Ipx8 waterproof with spares provided as well.
