trxnav Posted October 28, 2014 Report Share Posted October 28, 2014 Been tryin for a few weeks to get him on his first fallow deer but nothing has presented itself up until now. Over the last week they have been hammering our pheasant hoppers knocking them over and all sorts so decided an early morning up the high seat was called for. Headed out at 5.30 this morning settled in the seat by 6am the birds started to sing the pheasants started to drop down from roost we were busy watching 2 Chinese water deer milling about when saw movement further back about 80 yards out a lonely fallow pricket walking through he then stopped and started to try and knock over a hopper so he took aim and shot him dead on the spot gralloched out there and then and straight to game dealer 70lb done out he was well chuffed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
