sjnshooter
Good evening all, after being part of a syndicate on a pheasant shoot for last four years I have been helping them all year with vermin/fox control. And the chap who runs the shoot has asked me to get my fac for a .22 for rabbits and a.243 for helping him contoll foxes and help him to cull some deer. He has shooting rights for deer across the county as well as on the syndicate farm. Just wanted to get people's opinions on weather I would get my fac as I have the land to do it and a good reason now. Will I get a .243 on my first application do you think for foxes and deer control
sjnshooter
Forgot to say have used the estate rifle to shoot deer and foxes ,would it be good idea to get the chap to put this in writing to say I'm a safe shot and competent with the rifles
robbiep
Chances should be good - you've got 'good reason' to possess. Also, yes to the letter from an experienced shot, showing that you have experience and are safe.
