yickdaz
after doing 75 miles yesterday for 4 pigeons, I wanted to salvage something from the weekend, so after dinner had a quick look at my nearest farm to home, I had a look yesterday and saw plenty crows and jacks on a stubble but I was in pigeon mode so carried on driving round looking for them on our far flung farms, so today I thought what the hell I,ll see if I can bag a few they always flight later than pigeons so I was in no rush got set up for about 1.15pm with just 2 pigeon shell decoys sprayed black and just added dead birds on cradles as I shot them finished at 3.30pm not hectic shooting but enough to keep me occupied and finished with a decent little bag 15 jacks 8 crows 2 rooks 3 woodies 2 ferals

Guest stevo
how did you get on today I shot 15 in all , not my best bag admittedly , however it was a just a great day , I got set up and ready for action by 8am , and it looked very promising to start , but then the mist rolled in and that was pretty much game over , it was just the occasional bird that popped in for a look , still I did have some great shots with the .410 and a cracking left and right , if I do say so myself . but best of all was the smile on my face every time I pulled the trigger .
