Fisherman Mike Posted November 26, 2014 Report Share Posted November 26, 2014 Sadly I lost the exclusive rights to some private land near Fairford that I've been shooting on since I was about 14 last week. The new owners are not shooters sadly. But the farm manager is on the move and has offered me plenty acres near Kingham when he makes the move in the new year and some fishing on the evenlode to boot... It gets better. Used to fish the Evenlode a lot when I was younger so I'm looking forward to it..especially as I have quite a few friends and family in nearby Chipping Norton and there are some cracking pubs nearby. Went out for a reccy last weekend and the woods were full of Birds..one or two of the farmers I spoke to said that there aren't that many pigeon shooters nearby...which I find very hard to believe.
